Genmaicha, a popular Japanese green tea, is a delightful blend of green tea leaves and roasted brown rice. Known for its unique flavor and appearance, it's often referred to as "popcorn tea" due to the occasional popped rice kernels that resemble popcorn. Genmaicha offers a nutty and slightly toasty taste with a mild, grassy undertone from the green tea. Its aroma is warm and inviting, making it a comforting and soothing beverage. Genmaicha's moderate caffeine content and well-balanced flavors make it a versatile choice, ideal for both newcomers to green tea and seasoned enthusiasts. It's a testament to the creativity and diversity of Japanese tea culture.

This tea has a very mild and smooth taste. It smells wonderful--a little like popcorn. It does seem to have mini popcorn kernels in the mix. This one is my favorite at the moment.
