California Customers Only: Proposition 65 Information
Proposition 65 is a California law that requires businesses to include a warning to California customers regarding any products that contain measurable amounts of any one of over eight-hundred chemicals, many of which are naturally occurring.
“WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.”
Some herbs may contain low levels of lead which are often naturally occurring in the earth and in groundwater. These levels are well below FDA's current tolerable intake levels (and much less than the amount shown to cause harm in adults).

All domestic U.S. shipping costs are shown when you place your order. We usually ship your order within 3 - 5 business days from the date we receive it. For regular size packages, we ship via USPS Priority Mail within the 50 states, which takes about 3 business days to arrive. For large packages we ship via UPS Ground, which takes about 5 business days to arrive. Additional shipping charges may apply for shipment to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. Territories.
Please note: If you give us a shipping address that is incorrect or request that a package be shipped to another address, after we have shipped it, you will be charged an extra shipping charge for us to reship your package once it has been returned to us. If you decide to cancel the order once the package has been returned to us, we will refund the amount paid minus the shipping fee and 20% restocking fee.
For international shipping destinations, we ship with USPS Priority Mail International. You will need to provide your telephone number for customs documentation.
Risk of Shipping Loss
All products purchased from Teahaven.com are made pursuant to a shipping contract. The risk of loss and title for any and all items are passed directly onto you upon transfer of packages to the shipping carrier.
If there is a manufacturer's defect on our tea accessories (tea mugs, teapots), you can return it for an exchange. Any defects or damages must be reported within 14 days of purchase date. Please email us to receive an RMA number before returning your product.
If you have purchased your product through a retail store, please observe the retailer's return policy.
We do NOT accept returns on opened products. Customer is responsible for cost of shipping the return item. It is the customer's responsibility to insure all returning items. Once the item is returned, undamaged, we will credit your card or account for the item less shipping fees.
We try to keep all items in stock but sometimes we may sell out of an item. We will notify you in the event of any delays.
Discrepancies and Shortages
If your order is received with any notable shortcomings, please contact customer service immediately. All discrepancies, shortages, broken merchandise and any requests for returns must be made within 14 days of the purchase date. Any requests for compensation or remediation will not be accepted after 14 days of the purchase date.
Changes and Modifications
We reserve the right to make changes to our products, services, and prices at any time and without notice. We also reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or group at our discretion. This includes barring access to TeaHaven.com, blocking of customer emails, changing shipping and item charges, and refusal to accept payment from an individual or group. We reserve the right to deny access to certain users or groups by means of blocking certain IP addresses from accessing the website.

Limitation of Liability
TeaHaven.com is not responsible for typographical errors. TeaHaven.com makes no determination of the specifications or warranties of the products we sell and shall not be responsible for any damages including but not limited to any defective products and/or late, lost, misdirected or incorrect shipments.

Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden.
