This Hojicha green tea, compared to most other green teas, has a very strong, earthy taste to it. If you are brewing it along with other teas, this one will overpower the others.
If you are careful not to over-boil the water, you will end up with a cup or a pot of outstanding green tea that has a delicate spice to it, and a smooth flavor that warms your spirit. I was thrilled with this selection. It is a taste you will remember fondly.
